Extra Curricular Clubs

Teacher-led After School Clubs:

Clubs for Term 3:

Teacher-led Clubs will run for five weeks from 13th January.  Letters with details, including how to apply to join will come out soon.

When a club is very popular, it may be necessary to join a waiting list, and be offered a place for another term.  Teachers will contact pupils individually to confirm their place in a club, and to offer waiting list places if necessary.

Music Lessons in School:

There are opportunities to learn Brass, Woodwind or Stringed instruments in school.  The lessons are delivered by teachers from the Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust (NMPAT).  The cost for these lessons is currently £250 per year, which can be paid in installments (£45 first term, plus £41 in each of the remaining five terms).

If you would like to learn how to play an instrument, please speak to Mrs Bilkhu.

Clubs run by External Organisations:

In addition to teacher-led clubs, a range of clubs are run at St James after school and in the evenings by external organisations.  There is usually a charge for these clubs, and you should make arrangements to join them by contacting them directly. These clubs are offered to both pupils of St James and children from the wider community.

If you are interested in running a club at St James, please contact Jo Prickett in the school office to discuss letting arrangements.
