Home Learning during the shutdown Jan - Mar 21

At the moment, with the current shutdown and intermittent closure of bubbles to support self- isolation, the school is delivering teaching of core and foundation subjects both in school and through live teaching to children at home. This is to ensure no child is disadvantaged and every child at St James has access to live, high quality teaching, delivered by teachers regardless of whether a child is in school or isolating at home.

Below outlines the current offer:

Nursery provision Daily live teaching sessions for phonics and Maths as well as tasks and challenges set on Tapestry
Reception provision Daily live teaching sessions for phonics, Maths and Writing as well as tasks and challenges set on Tapestry for completion at home. PE is delivered live weekly.
Year 1  Daily live teaching sessions for phonics, Maths, Reading, Writing and foundation subjects with follow up challenges on Tapestry. PE is delivered live weekly.
Year 2 - Year 6 4 one hour live teaching session per day on Reading, Writing and Maths plus a foundation lesson. PE is also delivered live weekly
