School will be OPEN AS NORMAL on Tuesday 12th December. Please dress for the weather (coats, hats, gloves, wellies), and bring dry shoes for the classroom.

School Lunches

School lunches are cooked and served on site in our well-equipped kitchen by ABM Catering.

Meals cost £2.30 per day (£11.50 per week).  Pupils can order a meal at morning registration each day.  Please give dinner money to your teacher, or parents can pay at the school office.  We ask that you ensure you have paid for each week's meals by Friday, and do not run up a debt on school meals.  Thank you.

Every day the children can choose from five options, including: Vegetarian, Halal, Jacket Potato, and Picnic Lunch/Sandwiches, as well as the Main Meat-based Meal - so there are plenty of options! The menu changes each week, and can be found below:

School Lunch Menus - January - March 2017

Universal Free School Meals for all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2

Since September 2014 all KS1 children are offered a school meal free of charge. They have the same menu options as above: meat, halal, vegetarian, jacket potato, and packed lunch. This really is a good choice for a primary school, and as the caterers strive for the highest standards using local and organic produce if possible, meals are of a high quality.

Parents are asked to say each morning what meal they would like their child to have.

We are pleased that most children choose a school meal each day. As meals cost £2.30 each, it is a real saving for families.

If you still opt to send a packed lunch, please note we are asking for no fizzy drinks, chocolate items, sweets or crisps to ensure they are of the same nutritional quality as the lunches provided.
