Welcome

Welcome to St James Church of England Primary School

Thank you for visiting our website.

St James Church of England Primary School is a welcoming, inclusive and diverse school on the edge of Northampton, close to Northampton Saints Rugby ground.

We are a Church of England school within the Peterborough Diocese Academy Trust (PDET). Together, we ensure that Christian ethos is at the heart of everything we do and that children across the Trust and within St James, flourish.

Please follow the link here to find out more about how vision and values at St James are embedded throughout all aspects of school life.

Relationships and inclusion are a central part of our school. All relationships are based on our core value of Respect and we use the language of Emotion Coaching in every interaction.

We welcome families from a wide variety of backgrounds which gives us an exciting multicultural mix of language and religion in school.

We have a large Pastoral Team that provides support to children and families across a wide range of wellbeing and safeguarding issues.

We have two specialist units that support our most vulnerable learners and highly skilled staff who support children to flourish.

Relationships and inclusion is our strength at St James and we celebrate it enthusiastically in all areas of school life.

Please explore our website further to find out more but please don't just read about St James - come and visit us to see it all in action!
