Applications for places at our school

Thank you for considering applying for a place at St James CE Primary School.

 

All applications for places at this school should be made through West Northamptonshire County Council using the online link below.  If at any stage there are more applications than places available, the current Admission Policy explains oversubscription criteria.  If you wish to apply under the faith criteria of the Admission Policy, please use the form SIF/A which is located with the Admissions Policy by following the link. 

Reception Admissions Sept 2022

Reception 2022 applications must be made by 5pm on 15th January 2022. Parents will be notified of their allocated school on 16th April 2022.

How to appeal for a place at our school

If you have applied and been refused a place at our school (in any year group), you are entitled to appeal against that decision.

 

Appeals for PDET academies are administered by The Diocese of Peterborough Education team. For more information on the process please follow https://www.peterborough-diocese.org.uk/church-schools/admission-and-appeals/

 

If you wish to appeal please contact the Appeals Administrator by emailing education@peterborough-diocese.org.uk and ask for an appeals pack.

 

The pack includes some explanatory notes about the process of Admission Appeals and a Notice of Appeal form that, should you decide to proceed with an appeal, will need to be completed and returned by email if possible, but if not, to the Diocesan Office instead.

 

Timetable for appeals – September 2022 applications

Following the National Offer Day on 19 April 2022, the deadline for lodging an on-time appeal is 18 May 2022 (5pm).

 

The Appeal Clerk will send notification of the Hearing (date and possible time) to the Appellants during the week commencing 6 June 2022.

 

On time appeals will be heard by 8 July 2022.

 

Spring/Summer 2022 appeals will take place either on Zoom or in-person at the diocesan offices in Northampton and Peterborough.

 

Proposed appeal hearing dates are between 4-8 July 2022.

 

Decision letters will be sent within 5 working days of the appeal hearing, subject to any unforeseen circumstances.

Thank you for considering applying for a place in the Nursery at St James CE Primary School.

 

All applications for places in our Nursery should be made on the attached form.  Please apply during the term when your child becomes three years old.  If at any stage there are more applications than places available, the current Admission Policy explains the oversubscription criteria.  If you wish to apply under the faith criteria of the Admission Policy, please use the form SIF/A in the Admissions Policy section.
