As a member of Peterborough Diocese Education Trust (PDET Multi Academy Trust), the Governing Board of St James CE Primary School reports to PDET under the MAT management structure.

The Governing Board oversees the development of the school, with the aim to ensure that a high standard of education is delivered within a Christian Foundation.  The Governors provide strategic guidance for the development of the school; ensure the school is accountable to the local community (parents, PDET, the Church of England and the wider community); and act as a critical friend to the Headteacher and all staff in the school.


The Governing Board comprises members appointed by the Church of England (Foundation Governors), school managers and staff, and elected parent representatives.
